Here’s a great quote I read this morning:
Stop asking if the glass is half full or half empty. Instead, ask, “What’s in it? How did it get there? What can I do with it?”
~ David Kaufman
So true! We seem always to be checking our ‘happiness-meter’ rather than getting on with life, ceasing every opportunity to learn, examining our choices and then just living the best life we can!
Half Full? Or Half Empty?

Just wanted to share same kind of quote by Huang-Po:The foolish reject what they see, notwhat they think; the wise reject whatthey think, not what they see.
Great quote. Thanks for sharing.
ah! though I am a glass full kind of person and yet I do wonder at times about the happiness meter:))I am trying to control the habit now:)but its hard not to constantly worry abut a dozen different things..all at once:)
Interesting !!
I never think about whether it's half empty or half full. It just IS.
Somebody has recently told me the same thing. Personally, I think we should try to be half full glass kind of person. However, as you have said, it's not good to check every time whether you are happy or not.Basically, it depends on our view on anything. Said that, it sometime becomes hard to be positive and stay happy in some conditions like death of our near ones but still rather than becoming unhappy, we can maintain positivity by focusing our attention on good days we had for example. Inspiring post!
