Rather than focusing on other people, I want to turn this around to reflect on myself. Do I really know myself within? Do I have certain perceptions about myself that are not really correct? More importantly, am I being authentic and true to myself and my calling.

There are times when we can get quite carried away with people – their appearance, their words and sometimes their actions too. It’s only after you’ve interacted with them for a little longer do they begin to reveal their true selves. Often times we are quite taken aback by who they really are. (Bad apples?).
Perhaps, it’s not their mistake at all. They are who they are. It is we who had expectations of them, with out getting to know them more deeply.
