Send to KindleA Friday ritual. A single photo capturing a moment. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember.
If the sight of the blue skies fills you with joy,
if a blade of grass springing up in the fields has power to move you,
if the simple things in nature have a message you understand,
Rejoice, for your soul is alive.

{This Moment} is a ritual found on Soule Mama which was introduced to me by Sarah-Jane of Samuel Michaels Photography. If you find yourself touched by a Moment and would like to participate, post your picture on a Friday and leave your link in the comments section.
Today’s moment is dedicated to my clever friend Rachel Hoyt and her friend Pokey because that’s who I thought of when I clicked this picture!
May you be inspired – every day!

Nice blue sky.
This picture reminded me of my childhood you know I used to spent hours together staring out of the window giving names and creating stories out of the various shapes of clouds in the sky.
Lovely pic!
@privytrifles I still love looking at the clouds, but didn’t do the story thing – how interesting.
Love it…. Beautiful capture!
Oh, and I concur!
Amy – Thank you. Going across to see yours
Love it! It looks like a dinosaur to me!

@DangerousLinda Yes, I see that too – it’s just that I couldn’t get Rachel’s Pokey out of my mind
Yes! A turtle in the sky! I love cloud pictures and still look to see shapes in them.
Terrific moment, Corinne!
@marthaorlando Cloud watching is still one of my favorite pastimes.
I love it! It looks like an arm, my kids would love to play guess the cloud shape with this!
Thanks @JodiAman . It all depends on the interpretation.
I love photographing clouds. This does remind me of a turtle. umm I don’t need anymore competition Corrine!!!! :)
@JimBrandano Thanks, Jim. You made my week – even if you were just being nice!
This realllllyyy does look like a turtle, Corinne.. And I always always click clouds when travelling and I also have this silly habit of trying to look for shapes in them.
I look for shapes in shadows on the wall too, Punam.
I see a woman with a long dress, holding a baby and running away
@nikky44 I’m trying to see what you see……hmmm…no I don’t see her. But I’m fascinated with your comment.
Nice Corinne. I’ve been accused of having my head in the clouds because I love looking at the sky.
@Myrna I’m an avid sky-watcher too. But no one can accuse me of having my head in the clouds for fear that they’ll have my foot on their behind
So beautiful! It’s amazing to me, sometimes, that we all look at the same sky, even if we’re half a world away!
@femmefrugality That’s something that always amazes me too, Brynne and makes me think of how connected we are.
beautiful to say the least !
@xs2rahulz Thanks, Rahul.

@Nelieta Thanks – it was.
Yey! I saw that one too
@MelissaTandoc Ah – in your part of the world or on my blog?
Dear Corinne,
I have always loved sky photos. When I first saw this a couple of days ago, I could have sworn I saw a dragon in the sky! I thought perhaps it was just my eyes playing tricks because I did look at it at a time when I should have been sleeping. Coming back to comment today, I STILL see a dragon. (LOL) It’s amazing that we all see the same sky, but our interpretations of what we actually SEE can be so varied. Good capture all the same. Thanks for sharing.
I guess it’s all a matter of what we see first, Andy. Sometimes it’s difficult to shake off first impressions
Thank you for sharing the pic on G+ too.
Gorgeous Quote, Corinne. <3 Xxx Happy Sunday.

@krrobi Thanks.
