I love my solitude. As an introvert, it’s really important to me. Today’s #SundaySentence and this image really reflects this. I Love My Solitude I love being alone, I love my solitude and I go in search of these moments precisely because I need them. Both mentally and physically. I’ve recently started following Cory Allen on Twitter. I haven’t read his book yet but his writing resonates with me, which I why I decided to share a quote from him as a #SundaySentence. Yesterday brought news of an elderly man beaten to death by the husband of a politician. According to the murderer, his victim couldn’t produce an identity and was suspected to be a Muslim. This was horrendous on every level. I made me think of the song, ‘What The World Needs Now Is Love Sweet Love‘. We need movements rooted in love right now, movements powered not by difference and exclusion and punishment, but by common ground, compassion, humility, healthy boundaries, patience and healing.
