As I sit down to reflect on the first 90 days of 2025, I find myself in a familiar space—somewhere between gratitude and contemplation. These past three months have been a mix of steady rhythms, unexpected turns, and small but meaningful transformations. Looking back, I see both progress and areas where I want to grow.

Some Highlights of The First 90 Days of 2025
The Rituals That Grounded Me
At the start of the year, I committed to persistence, to showing up for the habits and rituals that bring steadiness to my days. Some of these rituals, like journaling and quiet reflection, have become non-negotiables. Others, like walks, were more of a struggle. There were days when I embraced the fresh air and movement, but there were also days when ill health, low sugar levels or simple resistance kept me inside. Getting enough sleep is still a struggle. Ultimately, I’ve learned that the essence of rituals isn’t perfection, but being present, even when life is turbulent.
Navigating Health Challenges
This season, health has emerged as something that needed urgent focus. I’ve been working on improving my diet while also addressing minor and persistent health concerns. Choosing my food more carefully has been a challenge, but it’s taught me how important good nutrition is to my health. Whether it was minor illnesses or more persistent issues, my body reminded me that well-being was not to be taken for granted. Although I’d have preferred to keep going, I needed to take breaks on certain days. Certain days have been valuable lessons in patience, listening, and adapting plans rather than forcing things. This experience reinforced the importance of self-care—not just as a concept, but as a daily practice that demands attention and respect.
Connections and Growth
This season, I focused on connecting with people—both old friends and new. Catching up with old friends or meeting new people—it takes work and being open to make genuine connections.
Naturally, things never go exactly as planned. There were times I faltered losing motivation and needed to remember my initial goals. I learned to let accept that some things are beyond my control. This is the area I most experienced growth in.
Strength in Practice
My word of the year, strong, has been a quiet undercurrent through these first three months. Strength has shown up in different ways—in my persistence through struggles, in my commitment to health, in the courage it takes to nurture relationships, and in the discipline of showing up for myself even when it’s difficult. This season has reminded me that strength isn’t just about pushing forward; sometimes, it’s about pausing, adjusting, and choosing resilience in the face of setbacks.

Two Quotes That Defined The First 90 Days
Listen to your heart and trust the direction you are being pulled. Something inside you already knows what to do. – Spring Washam
Looking Ahead
Moving into the next quarter, I plan to continue successful strategies and drop ineffective ones. I’m focusing more on what brings me joy and clarity, while staying open to new experiences. If the first 90 days were about showing up, perhaps the next will be about refining, about leaning into what truly matters.
How have your first 90 days of 2025 been? What have you learned? What do you hope to carry forward?

My days were pretty stressful—I definitely couldn’t have written such a lovely blog about them . But thanks to God and the people around me, I managed to stay grounded. Thanks for your beautiful blog post—I really enjoyed it! And your pictures are awesome!
The best thing about the first 90 days of 2025 for me is to start writing, Corinne. I also started collecting some beautiful quotes which I read before going to bed or when I’m enjoying my solitude. I get most of these quotes from your articles – like for example, the two quotes in this post 🙂 “stay close to…that makes you glad..” “…Something inside you already knows…” Beautiful words that convey great thoughts!
I love the quotes and the picture you’ve shared, Corinne. The first quarter of 2025 for me was all about books—I’m proud of having read 14 in just 3 months! Staying close to words, through both reading and writing, truly made me feel happy and alive.
