1. Love it!
   Interesting I read a post today about conversation attributors and whether said is ok, or should be varied with other versions or left off altogether. Of course there exist as many supporters as detractors, but it is interesting to bring it into the awareness and see how it works. The piece of advice I did take away, was that its not always necessary unless clarification is required as to who is actually speaking. Food for thought.

   Thanks for sharing your flash fiction, a total inspiration, as a visit here always is.

   1. That’s really interesting, Claire. I was struggling with it and left it out all together in the last part of the conversation. I too think that once the characters have been established, conversation attribution become redundant. However, establishing characters in a short format is so challenging.

2. Wow…that was beautiful… You know the best part I love about your stories is they seem to be so much existent around us. As if waiting to be told – and you do that so nicely!

3. I love mystery novels! The more gruesome the better. Serial killers and a great detective. In fact, I went up to my cabin this weekend and read a whole book. Gave myself permission to not do any chores or read more worthwhile things. Just sat with the dog and read a good page turner mystery!

4. I have a stash of chocolates in my safe and I eat them when no one is around 🙂 My biggest weakness. Everyday we get to read something new about you, which is awesome. Will keep visiting for more stories 🙂

   I know it isn’t about me but the romance novels, LOL. But my guilt trips would include eating ice cream and talking with friends til late night when I should be sleeping 😛

6. So great! When I was a teen my friend’s grandmother wouldn’t let her watch TV shows with immodest clothing or cuss words in them (her prerogative) but she proudly displayed her romance novels all over the house for access to all!

9. No reason for guilt Corinne, enjoy. My guilty pleasures come from sweets. Chocolate is something, which I’m embarrassed to admit, I eat like an addict. I’ve often considered starting a chapter of Chocoholics Anonymous but instead chose to eat more of the luscious, creamy stuff.

   Can I tell you something weird? I thought your story had a nice amount of suspense – the kind that really makes you try to guess what the end will be. The weird thing is I suspected a sex toy or something far less innocent than a Romance Novel. Hehe. You brought out the naughty thinking in me.

   1. I guess chocolate would come second for me, Myrna but I manage to avoid the temptation by not buying it!
      Nothing weird about what you said, I was being deliberately naughty and was waiting for someone to get it – I guess everyone was being ‘nice’ 😉 ♥

13. Oh Corinne, a sweet story you have told so well, I too felt the suspense and wonder as to what she had hidden, I too, like Myrna, it was something much more sinister than a pleasant little book. For me the guilty pleasure I enjoy the most, especially these days, is to lay on the couch and watch episode after episode of Criminal Minds!

16. Nice short story in 100!wirds. You know I had written a short story in this same topic, guilty pleasure a few months back. I had different topic though obviously.

    Every has a guilty pleasure that they try to hide, like here she hides the romance novel.
