Great question Corinne. My wife loves Josh Groban. It all depends on my mood. I am a huge fan of the 80s and there is a ton of great songs from that era that move me.
Gotta agree Justin,
There’s a multitude of songs from the 80’s that I still enjoy and find to be uplifting in one way or another. Of course, there’s a few that I’d love to never hear again. . . but when I move forward into today’s music push, it leaves a lot to be forgotten.
Thanks, Justin. I love the music of the 80s too. But I think the late 60s and the 70s are more my style. Would love to hear what your current favorite is. 🙂
I have so many favorite songs that I like. I even like Celtic music too. Christopher Cross had a string of great songs back in the 80s.
Celtic music rocks – I’ve got loads of it on my computer and love to listen to it while I write. 🙂
I have one song that has rarely left the top spot. Always On Your Mind. It’s my song. Aside from books and writing, music is a huge part of who I am. There are lots of songs that come and go, ones that flirt for the top spot, some I love passionately for a season, but never do they take over the number one.
Wow. . . very difficult for me to narrow this down to one particular song that serves as a theme of sorts. I think I’d have a hard time tossing MY WAY to the curb though. Performed so powerfully, by so many artists over the years, I think the Paul Anka piece that he put together for Frank Sinatra when he needed it most will always stand out.
Always On My Mind is a beautiful song too, Brenda. I know how much music is a part of your writing. I finally got a playlist set up on my blog too. Not sure if you noticed – I put it at the bottom – not very clever! 😉
I love this song too. It has been a long time since I listened to this. 🙂
It’s hard not to like this son! I hoped you liked hearing it again here.
It’s a wonderful song! I don’t think I’ve heard it before!
I’m surprised you haven’t heard it before. Glad you liked it!
Excellent song Corinne! I love it 🙂 Thanks for sharing…great idea for a hop. Almost makes me miss YouTube Tuesday LOL [wish I could underline ‘almost’]
Glad you liked the song. Yes YouTube Tuesday was fun while it lasted. 🙂
I haven’t heard it before but loved listening to it 🙂
Glad you liked the song, Jas!
Hi there,
This is s GMTA example as I have a similar meme going on my blog. When Vishnu tweeted the link to this post yesterday I laughed. Josh Groban has a great voice and I like the tune you chose. I hope you have an wonderful Valentine’s Day.

I’ve heard a lot about this up and coming artist but am still not totally familiar with him. Thanks for some insights.
Awesome, awesome, awesome. I just love this song. One of my favourite numbers. There are some songs that make me feel that connection to God. This is one of those. Thanks for sharing.
I missed “What’s This Song” hmmm…
I love your choices of song ~ this in particular. I have heard several versions of it and this one also sounds great. Very inspiring 🙂

Corinne, I loved your interpretation of this song! It’s so lovely! Drinking my cup of coffee and listening to this tune, I felt the weariness and worry leave my body. Perhaps it was the melody, the lyrics, or Josh’s soothing voice but it did all this! Thank you for sharing your peace and wisdom! Hugs to you and Pablo from Roxy and me! 🙂
