Dear Past And Future Me

Day 117/365 ~ I'd Like to Make Myself Believe that Planet Earth Turns, Slowly

Dear Past Me and Future Me

I have the same message for both of you today, so I thought I’d write you a combined letter. I promise to keep this short.

I just want you to inscribe these messages on your heart and mind:

  • Treasure yourself. No one else will love you like you can.
  • Be grateful. A grateful heart attracts more to be grateful about.
  • Follow your heart.  Your heart is the only compass you have.
  • Exercise and eat healthy.

Much love

  1. All good advice, especially gratitude. I will be speaking to a group of people tomorrow about happiness, and gratitude will be a central focus. So easy to do with immediate benefits.

  2. I agree, short and to the point! I hope you listen to yourself! Thanks for participating in my prompt! Looking forward to reading more of your work 🙂

  3. If only my future self atleast learns 😀 cause that past dude sure made a lot of wrong turns

  4. Lovely letter- short, simple yet effective.. I have always been contemplating writing a letter to both my future and past. I think I should do it now after reading yours as it makes me feel it is going to be very helpful!!

  5. Wow !sweet and shot corinne ! would want to tell my past and future too….. thanks for sharing !

  6. My favorite one is the ‘grateful’ part. A grateful heart DOES generate more gratitude.
Have a blessed weekend Corinne. Hope it’s all sunshine and lollipops for you 😉

  7. Life is simple and yet beautiful 🙂

I need to put some more focus on staying healthy and exercising (I am not spending much time exercising these days, even though I realize that I will regret that in the future).

I am covered on others 😉 I am grateful for my life – I simply love it, even though it throws a great deal of challenges at me (I think that these challenges are what that make life interesting!).

Thank you for the post, Corinne!
