This month on Life, Noticed I’m focusing on love and how I can notice it when it shows up in the ordinary, the mundane, the daily life that is mine.
Life, Noticed – Love
I can notice the small ways I give and receive love
the ordinary ones that usually slip past without being named.
The way I show up.
The way someone else does.
The quiet exchanges that don’t ask for attention, only presence.
I can choose to see beauty in everyday things,
to slow down enough to really look.
To treat the familiar with care,
as if it matters—because it does.
I can give love more freely,
without waiting for the perfect moment or the right conditions.
I can soften my grip, open my hands,
and include myself in that kindness too.
This month, I can let love set the tone.
Let it bring a little more peace into tense moments,
a little more safety into my body,
a little more ease into the way I move through my days.
And I’ll watch for heart shapes along the way –
in shadows, leaves, clouds.
I’ll notice heartstones underfoot,
small and solid reminders to pause, to look down, to breathe.
Because once you start looking,
they really are everywhere
quiet signs, gentle nudges,
that love keeps finding me, again and again.
On our anniversary these hearts literally landed in our garden – a sign of love from the Universe. They were all over our housing complex but two together in our garden seemed magical.

And here is a small part of my heartstone collection – I love for heart shaped stones on my walks. The painted on is my grounding stone.
