My theme for January is Grounded. Slow Mornings and Daily Rituals The morning is peaceful; the sun hasn’t risen yet. Washed and dressed, I sit quietly, a candle burning and sipping a cup of tea, letting myself ease into the day instead of rushing to meet it. The house is quiet, and time seems to slow down. A new year. A new word of the year. I start the process of choosing one in December. The phrase that came to me then was ‘open to receive’. About two weeks later I got the second edition of Cosy Quirky’s (Ankita) The Travelling Souls Mail Club envelope.
