Living Loving Learning

Living loving learning…..that’s what life is all about, isn’t it?

I truly feel that if there is, in this world, one person whom we can touch totally, unabashedly and unashamedly, we will never die of loneliness. One person! Someone you can go to and lay it on the line with, who will listen. Some you don’t have to hide from. Someone to whom you can say “These are my feelings,” and they say, “Good. It’s all right.” “This is me!” “That’s okay.”  ~ Leo Buscaglia in Living, Loving and Learning

Today marks seven years since I found that one person. Or rather since we found each other. I am always grateful for enjoying the blessing of that someone in my life.  Life has not been a bed of roses, we’ve had illness and accidents, loads of disagreements – what with both of us having such strong personalities. But we are both aware that we’ll stand by each other now matter what.

It’s truly been seven years of living (okay, technically a little less since we got married only the following January), loving and learning together.  I think we’ve grown a lot closer in the last three years and truly appreciate what we have.

Today, I give thanks for seven special years of love and laughter.
