This June, I give myself permission for creating space to breathe—to slow down, reflect, and prepare gently yet strongly for what lies ahead. I’ve been feeling overwhelmed and just plain tired.
Creating Room to Breathe
I don’t need to make sense of everything in real time. I can release that pressure and allow myself to process things at my own pace.
Not space to escape or avoid, but space to simply be.
To take a long, deep breath without immediately rushing to the next task. Sitting in silence without filling it with a screen. Pausing in the middle of the day and ask myself, How are you, really?
I’m learning that space is not empty—it’s sacred. It’s where clarity begins. It’s where feelings I’ve been pushing aside quietly return, asking to be seen. It’s where I reconnect with what matters, with what feels true. And it’s where strength begins to rebuild—not in the doing, but in the allowing.
I’ll gather insight and awareness, giving myself grace to navigate unfamiliar paths slowly and strongly. Like tending a garden, I’ll offer myself care and patience, understanding that growth happens through consistent, gentle attention.
I don’t need a perfect setting to find clarity. Even in the middle of daily life—with its demands, distractions, and small routines—I can pause and ask: What is this moment teaching me? What might this ordinary task reveal about what I need for tomorrow?
I won’t wait for perfect answers before I begin listening to the wisdom found in small, everyday experiences. This month, I’ll be present. I’ll stay open. And I’ll trust that the care and strength I bring to this moment are already shaping the foundation for the journey ahead.

My 2 Specific Intentions for June
I will move slowly and listen with care — To myself, to Jose, and to whatever each day brings. I’ll try not to rush, staying present and gentle. I’ll be kind, patient, and compassionate, even on the challenging days.
I will stick to small rituals and stay grateful — I’ll return to the little things that ground me. I’ll notice the good, reflect often, and move through June with a thankful heart.
I’m creating space to breathe
I step back, not to run,
but to rest where silence lives.
In the pause, I find my pulse—
steady, soft,
enough.

Good, inspirational post. Pause is what everyone needs during these times. That pause creates that space for us to breath in not just air but fresh thoughts and perspectives.
The pictures are mesmerizing Corinne! ‘Space to simply be’ and ‘be present this moment’ are profound expressions. I could instantly connect to the theme of this post because of the simple – easy to understand – yet, perfectly apt words and phrases throughout the article.
The intention to slow down and listen with care is such a valuable one. We so often overlook our own thoughts in the rush of daily life. I hope June was a meaningful and grounding month for you, Corinne.
