Have you ever thought of the power of doing nothing? Sounds ridiculous, doesn’t it?
The Power of Doing Nothing
The last few days I’ve been putting a fair amount of pressure on myself to make sure I have a post out each day as part of the Ultimate Blog Challenge. However, we still stuck with our decision to have a Shut Down day this Sunday as well.
I can’t tell you how much we enjoy these lazy Sundays…time to cook a special meal, time to watch a lovely movie (The Blind Side last Sunday), time to read (started and finished The Last Summer), time to have a long nap and great conversation and a lot of laughs.
But one day of doing nothing recharges my mind with loads of new ideas.
Don’t underestimate the value of Doing Nothing, of just going along, listening to all the things you can’t hear, and not bothering. -Winnie the Pooh
Even Pablo takes a break from playing ball on Sundays! 😉
When was the last time you did nothing? Try it for a day – I guarantee that it’s addictive!
