If I Could Have Any Superpower

This is a Finish the Sentence Friday post. Today’s sentence is “If I could have any superpower, I would want to be able to…” co-hosted by Kristi at Finding Ninee,  Amy of A Goode One and Michelle of Crumpets and Bollocks!

My first response to finish a sentence that went ‘If I could have any superpower, I would want to be able to..’

  • What do you mean ‘If…’? I am a superpower!

My second response would be

  • wear my underpants below my pants…they not called underpants for nothing!

My third response would be to request you to completely ignore responses one and two. Thank you.

If I could have any superpower, I would want to be able to…

  • make sure every child is protected from abuse of any kind
  • do away with domestic abuse
  • make organ donation a natural choice for every one
  • reach out with hope to every one who considers suicide
  • abolish poverty and give every one a chance to work in a free and fair environment
  • find a cure for AIDS, Alzheimer’s, cancer and all the mental health issues that plague so many
  • ensure the rights of children to a balanced diet, good living conditions, safety, education, health care, play and recreation and participation in community in accordance with the UN’s Convention on Child Rights
  • see to it that the ‘golden years’ are truly that for all elderly people.
  • end war and the threat of it………..

If I could have any superpower, I would want to be able to make this world a kinder, safer and more just place.

If I could have any superpower, I would want to be able to make you smile!

  1. How wonderful that even without being bestowed with super powers, we are free to make a positive difference in multiple ways!

I cannot ignore the first answer. 🙂 That shade of blue looks fabulous on you, Corinne.

  2. now I feel really shallow! I was tossing up between eating lots and not getting fat and being incredibly attractive – meanwhile you are solving the problems of the world. I’m going to have to work on my character a bit more!

  3. That’s a thoughtful list you got there. If only our leaders thought that way. 🙂

P.S Corinne I sincerely apologise for not being able to make it for the September challenge. I am not keeping very well. We moved to a new city and the weather here got to me. I have been missing out a lot of dates.I hope to be a part of future challenges and see them through till the end. My best wishes!

  4. What an amazing list. From your lips. Also um, I know you said to ignore it but whatdoyou mean that you wish you could wear your underwear under? Do you wear them over your pants currently? LOL. Love the photo at the end and you definitely made me smile!

  5. So basically, you’re aiming for Utopia with the superpower thing. It’s really cool though because most people look for something to control about themselves, but you aim to find something you can’t control: other people. And it doesn’t seem like you are concerned about things that make people diverse as much as things that hurt other people. So in essence, you want to take away the pain. Pretty cool.

  6. What a wonderful list of superpowers! I think that all of the outcomes you’ve chosen would be so healing for the world. And thank you so much for helping me to smile today!
