I’m struggling to write a post today. I’ve got used to the lovely guest posts on my blog – Debra’s and Savira’s – and frankly the ladies gave me a complex! 🙂  Thank you for your response to their posts on Hope. I have another good one on the same subject coming up later this week – stay tuned!

Summer’s here in Mumbai and that means hot and humid days. It also means summer holidays for children in India soon. I  recall how much we used to look forward to those summer holidays as children. Two whole months of holidays. Often it meant going for a visit to my grandparent’s home in Hyderabad. It meant lots of fun with the extended family. It meant mangoes – green with salt and chilli powder or yellow and sweet. It meant reading a lot of story books….It meant no studies. It meant forty carefree days……….and how fast they got over!

Life was beautiful then…It’s different now, but still beautiful. So much to discover, so many books to read, family to enjoy, interesting people to meet and lots of things to look forward to (less mangoes though!) and the best part is that it’s not only for two months….it’s for a life time!
 Smile, without a reason why
Love, as if you were a child
Smile, no matter what they tell you
Don’t listen to a word they say
‘Cause life is beautiful that way

Go have a listen to this song – enjoy it and life!

May you be inspired – everyday!
