Hands-on and thought provoking, this book invites you to go within and unearth your unique, infinite possibilities. This information is imperative for anyone wishing to change the parameters of his or her life.

Healer and inspirational teacher Tejpal and renowned professor and harpist Dr. Carrol McLaughlin have created eight principles, as well as practical exercises and tools, to enable you to begin successfully manifesting moment to moment. Discover your life purpose, and tap into your limitless potential to achieve your dreams. The place to begin is within. And the time to begin is now!

An idea of the contents: The book is based on the following premise – You are already a manifester — whether you are aware of it or not. You have the capability and the power to create the life you truly desire—by digging deep inside yourself, discovering the magic of your potential, clearing your limitations and connecting to your unique soul mission and deepest desires.

The authors go on to explain the 8 principles, which according to them will guide a person towards claiming his/her power as a manifester.

# 1 – You Have a Unique Soul Mission

#2 – It’s All about Energy

#3 – Intuition Is the Magic Wand

#4 – Your Belief and Your Story Do Not Define You and Can Be Changed

#5 – Your Desire Forms the Basis of Every Manifestation

#6 – Intention Overcomes Every Obstacle

#7 – You Have the Power to Clear, Heal, and Reinvent Constantly

#8 – Your Inner Guidance Knows the Path to Creating Life Balance

My views:  Although the book is dealing with what might be considered dry reading by some, I found it very readable. The book is broken into bite sized chunks, with small exercises thrown in to make it practical. It’s full of anecdotes, both personal and from the lives of others, that go to show the power of manifestation at work. Since I already believe in the power of manifestation, I didn’t need to read the book to be sold on the idea, but I found it was a good reinforcement of what I already believe in.

I received the book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This post is written for the letter for the letter ‘M” for the Blogging From A to Z April Challenge 2014. José and I are taking part in the challenge on From 7Eight as well.

I re-read the principles thrice, as you mentioned we know them well but every once in a while we need them back… I surely need them right now..

Corinne, you know I am a big believer of manifesting. Years ago, when my Mom talked about it, I used to smirk. But personal experience is a great leveler. And I’ve been blessed with lots and lots of proof once I opened my mind.

I must try and get this book – endorsement of something we love is always a great feeling!

‘Intuition Is the Magic Wand’ I so agree! I believe in the power of manifestation and try my bit to do my bit! But sometimes you perhaps need a book like this for that reminder! Great review!

This reminds me of that post on manifestation that Vidya wrote not too long ago. I never really knew about the concept or the term, but I guess I have been unconsciously following it for a while now, more so in the last 4 or 5 years. It is especially healing for me, on the personal and domestic front.

    Thanks for the review, Corinne.

I love this principle of Manifestation. In fact, The Secret from Rhonda Byrne also talks about visualization of your goal and similarly also says Thoughts+Intention (visualize in your mind that intention becoming your reality) = Reality. I must check this book, definitely! 🙂
Thanks for sharing about it Corinne 🙂 ♥

Didn’t quite get the principle of the book…what do they mean by manifesting? The values seem pretty relevant and I have read similar books too but didn’t quite get the manifest part!

It sounds like a book I would skim through and get much from. If something is too “dry” I have the tendency to do that. Knowing that I am scatterbrained that way, I tend to take notes to further embed what I have read into my noggin. Reaffirming what you already know is never a bad thing. Very helpful review. ♥

Isn’t it always good to be reminded of that which already resonates, even if just to reaffirm. Good sensible advice and a timely reminder. Thank you for sharing this Corinne.
