The Dentist’s Assistant


“Isn’t staring down people’s mouths awful?” I asked

“I’m doing my bit for humanity after all. See that tooth there? It’s rotten. Without me, the dentist would never know”, says the lamp proudly.





The Dentist’s Assistant  is in response to the Trifecta Writing Challenge : Write a 33-word piece that uses the word ‘tooth’

    Ha! I actually thought the question was meant for the dentist. I liked this piece. 33 words? That’s some challenge. I find it hard to express in 55er. This is superb!
